Hey! Im Katy! I am a film photographer in Houston, Texas and I am so glad you stopped by! Just a few things about me:

1. I am a list maker. Always lists. Eveyrwhere. I should buy stock in Post-It notes because I have them slapped everywhere including on myself, the car, my kitchen cabinets and in my bathroom. The brighter the better.

2. Im a jeans girl. I might have 40+ pair in my closet.. (yikes) You’ll catch me in jeans over athleisure on any given day.

3. I shoot film, yes the kind that has to be developed and processed. Why? Because it produces images that are so much more beautiful and better than anything I can get with a digital camera. (You can check out my blog post about it here)

4. I have two kiddos that have a rare genetic disability (its so rare only 28 other people in the world have been diagnosed with it!). They have given me more purpose and joy than I could have ever imagined. I am so proud of them and so proud to be their mom. ( I also love talking about them and I am an open book so if you ever are curious ask me anything!)

5. Where are all my enneagram people at?! Im a 6 on the Enneagram, a “Loyalist”… it kind of makes sense why I shoot film since 6’s are “loyal to ideas, system and beliefs,” :-) What number are you! I am super into the Enneagram right now!

6. I absolutely love creating images… I am always walking around with some sort of camera in my hand. It brings me so much joy and I hope you will reach out to me so we can create together! I want to show you how I see you!
